April 3, 2017 – Sirma Medical Systems announced today that its Premium Subscription service is available to Android device users with the latest update of Diabetes:M. Users can now get all the benefits iOS device owners already have and sync their data between both systems.
Free Features
The core functionality of the app remains free of charge for all users. Users can track and manage their condition the very same way they are used to. All the data entry, logbook, calculator and most of the reports and data features remain free.
Only difference comes for PDF/XLS data handling (reports, import and export). To ensure data security, minimize accidental loss and third party synchronization problems, these operations are now processed server-side and fall under the new Premium plan.
New Pemium Features & Services
As with the iOS version, Android users now have the option to unlock all the amazing new features, introduced with the announcement of Premium:
- No Ads – Subscribing removes all advertising from the app, so you can concentrate on what is important.
- 2 Additional Profiles – You can set up to two additional, fully featured profiles. This allows you to keep track of your loved ones (or even pets).
- Additional lab result records – Add a comprehensive metabolic panel, kidney function tests and much more…
- Expanded Food Database – This will allow greater access to server food database, as well as an option to save selected food as Meals and Dishes
- Synchronization – Automatically sync multiple devices on data change. Allows you to use any of your available mobile devices to keep track effortlessly.
- Reports – Get your reports in PDF or XLS format
The subscription service comes with four different payment options – for 1, 3, 6 months and 1 year. All of them are currently in promotion, until the 15th of June, 2017.
Over the next few months, Sirma Medical System’s plans include a wide range of additional improvements and features, as well as a web-based user interface. This will provide users with even more ways to track and analyze their data, helping them lift the burden and reduce both the costs and risks of diabetes over time.
Old License Owners
Users that opted to pay for the old license to remove ads, still retain every function they had available at the time. This means that PDF and XLS data and reports options remain unlocked for license owners. However brand new features, such as the additional profiles, new lab result records and expanded food database are locked.
NOTE: The old license app is no longer available for purchase. Users that already bought it, can download it on Google Play from their “My Apps & Games” section.
